How to Block and disable your gt debit card.
The gtb debit card can easily be blocked and deactivated when you notice an unauthorized transaction being carried out on the debit card below is how to block and deactivate your gt card.
How to block your gt card using gt mobile app
- Login to the gt Mobile app
- Click on card
- Click on Block card
- Put the reason and click on Block
Once this is done the card won’t be able to perform any transactions.
How to disable gt card temporarily.
Block GTB card is different from disabling the card, when the card is blocked, it becomes useless until you get another one from the bank. But when a card is disabled temporarily, it can still function if activated again. To disable the gt card follow the steps below
- Sign in to the GT Mobile app
- Click on card
- Click on card protect
- Select where you don’t want the card to function again.
Once it is done the card won’t function if disable on any platform.
